Canberra’s public bus system provides services across the city and suburban areas. Student discounts are available and a bus stop is located at the front entrance of The Australian International Hotel School. Canberra is serviced by ACTION Bus Lines, and more information on both the company and timetables of their operations may be found at www.action.act.gov.au.

Some students purchase a new, or second-hand motor vehicle, which they may sell on completion of their studies. While others may purchase a bicycle and take advantage of the many bicycle paths around Canberra.
Frequent air services run from the Canberra International airport, located only 10 minutes from the campus. Several major airlines have regular flights available linking Canberra with other Australian and international destinations.

Canberra’s rail service also provides services to and from Sydney three times a day. Alternatively bus links to and from major Australian centres operate regularly and provide an economical mode of transport.
