Semester in Australia (SIA)

Note: This program is currently under review-March 2008

The AIHS currently has an exchange agreement with the Hanzehogeschool in the Netherlands.

The AIHS' Semester in Australia program gives you an opportunity to experience life in Australia, gain valuable international education, travel and make-lifelong friends all while keeping your study program on track.

The AIHS’ Semester in Australia program offers undergraduate courses to international students of hospitality, tourism, hotel management and business. Our courses appeal to students seeking academic credits in any of these fields.

The program may begin at any of our term start dates (detailed below). A full-time course load for the 9-week term is a total of four courses. Classes are taught using a mixture of classroom-based techniques and field visits. Other excursions and activities are available at an additional cost.

To participate you must be a student in good standing at your university. Average to above-average results in tertiary studies completed to date are also required.

During the Semester in Australia program, you will live on campus in the AIHS’ own residential accommodation in a single room with ensuite. On campus accommodation is a requirement for all Semester in Australian students. All rooms are fully furnished and serviced weekly. The residential fee also includes all meals and a linen service..
