Academic Advisors

New students are assigned an Academic Advisor for the period of their stay at AIHS. The role of the Advisor is to guide students through their academic program. For example, they will discuss choice of subjects and the order in which they should be taken. They will also keep you aware of your grade point average for the term and cumulatively, discuss with you the various options you may have regarding electives, and remind you, if necessary, of requirements for graduation, such as the AIHS language requirement. The advisor does not arbitrate between students and other lecturers on matters such as requests for extensions and concerns about marks.

Students are assigned to an advisor upon their arrival to the school.
