Laptop Packages - The new Dell E6400 now available!

Students are encouraged to take advantage of one of the School’s laptop packages.

Each of the packages include the following:

• Your choice of a brand new Dell E6400 or E2100 laptop or  equivalent to these models
• Windows Operating System
• Microsoft Office 2007
• Laptop case
• 3 year next day onsite (location permitting) hardware repair warranty by Dell engineers
• 3 year virus protection and upgrades
• 3 year spam and malware protection
• Technical support from expert IT engineers at School

For further details on pricing and specifications please click here. Our IT department will review technological advances and trends every 3 – 6 months and will advise the school on the most suitable provider and laptop model to keep up-to-date with student needs.

PLEASE NOTE: Students may bring their own laptop if preferred but please note that these laptops will NOT:

• be provided with any of the above benefits or extras;
• be entitled to any on campus IT support or service; or
• have access to the School’s wired network, terminal server, printing, file shares or email via their laptop.

Students supplying their own laptops will also be required to provide their own anti-virus software and purchase upgrades to meet the School’s IT regulations.

Purchase your text books before you arrive

Students can purchase your text books in advance from Comtext, and they will deliver them to the School. For further information on what Comtext provides please visit www.comtext.com.au.

1. Go to www.comtext.com.au

2. Under Student Login on the left hand side of the page select BMHS & AIHS from the dropdown menu

3. Enter the username as bmhsaihs@comtext.com.au

4. The password is bmhsaihs2010

5. Click Submit

6. Select the texts you require

Delivery is only AUD5 so to take advantage of this, simply select ‘$5 partner college delivery’ as the delivery method.
